Non-physical Reality

Peering through the veil
This is where mystery lies
Cognition will reveal
What can't be seen with the eyes
Of truths evincing
Of chancel wincing
A painful paradox it may be
Voluntary captive, therefore free
Eye of a craven skeptic
Heart of an eclectic
There may be more behind
Than in front, how odd
It is not surprising to find
Peering into the realm of God

Winds Of Change

Acceptance welcomes the winds of change, like a cool breeze on a sweltering day.
A moment in time is all of life.
It will never happen again, so be glad it did, if it be pleasant or painful.
For if it was painful, it is past.
If it was pleasant, do not mourn its passing.
If it is Love that leaves you longing from the pit of your being, be glad,
for you have reached the highest plain of existence.
Every moment changes forever, be in it, do it the best you can, and Love the most you can.
and when we are done, we will say, it is just the way we wanted it.

Me Shades Lin Of Da Grey

I look to the sea
The clouds are grey
and so is the water
But, it shines like a polished stone

My little Chinese girl is away
I miss her laughter
I miss her visits
While no one is at home

Shades of grey,
dark, light, and hues of blue
Melancholy puffs of vapor
as I write it all down on paper

Drops of rain, I do not see
like my Chinese girl
I see her in my mind
looking at me from behind those mystical, exotic eyes

This is no surprise
as many a day, the skies
are grey in June
But, my Chinese girl

I keep on thinking of you...

The Church Of The Mysteries Of Life

I humbly add this blog with full admittance to the fact that I do not know the answers to questions which may arise from its title. That said, let us proceed with the beginnings of a blog idea which interests me a great deal.

Religion being the hot topic that it is, spurring arguments, waging war, is not the focus here. The underlying essence of all religions is what will be discussed, spirituality.

Webster has defined it as, "incorporeal or immaterial nature", meaning it has no material value, but has evidence of value. That value, which has been determined to be other than physical, is the attraction to the idea of its aquisition. Examples of people who have achieved much joy, happiness, and contentment in life, have attested it to spirituality. Many have found little happiness in the accumulation of material things. Personally, I would like to have both, and believe the the two are harmonious.

Just what is spirituality and how does one go about getting it? I believe the answer lies in the desire to know, the willingness and open mindedness to investigate, and the honesty to ones self in acceptance of certain truths or the abandonment of falsehoods.

Spirituality is the act of the human becoming one with his/her true nature, allowing his or her self to align with the order of the natural universe.

I titled this blog as a mystery because no one has mapped out a sure fire way to give you spirituality. I believe it is a personal journey, therefore an individual discovery. This is why there are so many arguments about how to get there and what to call it. Vishnu, Great Spirit, Alla, God, Krishna, Tao, are all the same thing, just like oxygen is the same thing in every language.

This is all for now, peace be with you!
