The Church Of The Mysteries Of Life

I humbly add this blog with full admittance to the fact that I do not know the answers to questions which may arise from its title. That said, let us proceed with the beginnings of a blog idea which interests me a great deal.

Religion being the hot topic that it is, spurring arguments, waging war, is not the focus here. The underlying essence of all religions is what will be discussed, spirituality.

Webster has defined it as, "incorporeal or immaterial nature", meaning it has no material value, but has evidence of value. That value, which has been determined to be other than physical, is the attraction to the idea of its aquisition. Examples of people who have achieved much joy, happiness, and contentment in life, have attested it to spirituality. Many have found little happiness in the accumulation of material things. Personally, I would like to have both, and believe the the two are harmonious.

Just what is spirituality and how does one go about getting it? I believe the answer lies in the desire to know, the willingness and open mindedness to investigate, and the honesty to ones self in acceptance of certain truths or the abandonment of falsehoods.

Spirituality is the act of the human becoming one with his/her true nature, allowing his or her self to align with the order of the natural universe.

I titled this blog as a mystery because no one has mapped out a sure fire way to give you spirituality. I believe it is a personal journey, therefore an individual discovery. This is why there are so many arguments about how to get there and what to call it. Vishnu, Great Spirit, Alla, God, Krishna, Tao, are all the same thing, just like oxygen is the same thing in every language.

This is all for now, peace be with you!
